They will show up as installed as long as Portable Apps is running. To install fonts to your system for use by all users, (as root) you can place the font files somewhere under /usr/share/fonts or /usr. They work, not only in your portable apps, but on other programs on your computer, including Microsoft Office, Storyline, and Lectora. If Portable Apps was running, be sure to shut it down and restart it.Open the Layers dialog from Layer Layers. You can double-click on the generic name of the font to change it.

Drop all of the fonts you want to use into this folder. In the column labelled Font, click on New to create a font.

In the data folder, create a folder called Fonts.

Enter the folder, and then the Data folder.

After you install Portable Apps and a couple of programs (it doesn’t matter which), open up the folder where you installed it.

In Fedora, install the inkscape package to get lnkscape. Importantly, along with these awesome free programs comes the ability to make your fonts portable. As a result, you usually get cleaner edges on your fonts and graphics and the ability to bend.
